Be kind to animals

It’s been a long time since cruelty free meant a hippy dippy hemp sack, or hipster dipster canvas messenger bag slung across the body. But while there are animal friendly options out there they still tend to be a bit behind on the style-meter, or ridiculously priced (especially for man made materials) with a Stella McCartney label.

Enter, a cruelty free chick’s best friend, Inder Bedi, founder of Canadian brand matt & nat.

The collection is not only extensive, and multi faceted, it is inspired, and the designs are wonderful. This is the Rev style ( an exception, most of the styles are named, as is the trend, for actresses and models) a very large and roomy duffel style with a top handle or a detachable shoulder strap.
The nude color is great for heading in to a warmer climate, but would still be suitable paired with darker Fall and winter tones. It has a pair of not quite triangular pockets on front for any small things you want to keep handy, and is even large enough to use as a small overnighter.
Best of all, not only is it 100% cruelty free to our furry friends, it’s 100% cool too. And at $115, it’s cruelty free to your wallet too! This or any one of their other styles can be ordered from matt & nat.
